On Wednesday, Lahore’s intermittent downpour persisted, providing a temporary reprieve from the heat and resulting in a drop in citywide temperatures.
The rainy weather is predicted to continue for the next one to two days because of favorable wind patterns, according to Akhtar Mehmood, deputy director of the Meteorological Department in Lahore.
The authority also cautioned that during this time, the severity of the haze may grow, which could have an impact on visibility and air quality in some places.
Mehmood stated, “After July 20, a new wave of the monsoon system is likely to enter Lahore, which may bring more widespread and sustained rainfall.”
