The Foreign Office demanded Friday that terrorist groups such as Majeed Brigade be identified as aliases of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and urged the international community to adopt non-discriminatory policies to combat terrorism.
“As Pakistan continues to remain counter-terrorism bulwark through unparalleled sacrifices and efficacy, we urge international community to adopt objective and non-discriminatory policies to address this global menace through collective efforts,” spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said in a statement.
The demand was made just hours after the US labeled The Resistance Front, a group thought to be a branch of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a “foreign terrorist organization” for its claimed role in the 26-person April 22 attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
