KARACHI: After several days of cloudy weather, the city had mild showers in the early hours of Sunday, giving its citizens a very lovely morning to wake up to.
The city’s airport, Malir, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Shah Faisal, North Karachi, New Karachi, Surjani Town, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, II Chundrigar Road, PIDC, Saddar, and Burns Road were among the locations where light rain was observed.
The University Road received the most rainfall, measuring 2.3 mm, followed by the airport, PAF Base Faisal, and Gulshan-e-Hadeed, which received 2 mm. The amount of rainfall in Korangi and Jinnah Terminal was 1.4 mm, whereas it was only 0.2 mm in Keamari and Surjani Town.
The precipitation follows a forecast of moderate to heavy rain with thundershowers from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
