KARACHI: To reduce the strain on current facilities and enhance service delivery, the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has announced the opening of three significant new registration centers in Karachi.
The new centers would be established in Malir Cantonment, Malir, and Surjani Town, Nadra spokesperson Syed Shabahat Ali told reporters.
In order to address public concerns, he added, a number of amendments have also been made to the national identity registration rules. He pointed out that Union Councils were issuing birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates.
Additionally, the ‘B-Form’ now includes children’s photos, and children under three years old now receive child registration certificates (CRC) the old-fashioned way, without a photo.
