YORK: Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister, has stated that in order for developing nations to attain sustainable development, they need access to grant-based funding and debt relief.
Dar was speaking at the United Nations’ high-level political forum on sustainable development.
Pakistan is adamantly dedicated to the 2030 Agenda, he said, and has taken revolutionary steps to promote equitable growth, bolster climate resilience, and carry out economic reforms.
Two of the most pressing issues facing the globe now, according to the deputy prime minister, are the global food crisis and climate change.
