Iran’s Foreign Ministry official told The News that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will travel to Pakistan on July 26.
Esmaeil Baqaei, the spokesperson for Iran’s foreign ministry, said at a press conference on Monday that Pezeshkian will visit Pakistan next week, according to Iranian Tasnim News.
The spokesperson stated that the forthcoming presidential visit is an indication of the importance Iran places on its relationship with Pakistan, which is founded on mutual respect and understanding of history, culture, and religion.
He pointed out that since the US and Israel attacked Iran, there has been an increase in communication between Tehran and Islamabad.
