LONDON: In his social media posts, former serviceman Major (retd) Adil Farooq Raja has denied making fabricated and inflated accusations against Brigadier (retd) Rashid Naseer. These accusations include the attempted assassination of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and the killing of journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya.
On the second day of the trial, Adil Raja was questioned by counsel David Lemer, who suggested that he left the army as a major, a low-ranking position, and that he did not have access to the same information that senior officers do. In response, Raja claimed to be a field commander, have participated in multiple military operations, and be the chairman of the Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society’s (PESS) media arm.
