Pakistan has vehemently denied Indian charges of cross-border terrorism, calling on New Delhi to examine its own conduct instead of placing the blame elsewhere.
During a UNSC debate on “Promoting International Peace and Security through Multilateralism and Peaceful Settlement of Disputes,” Ambassador Usman Jadoon, Pakistan’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, denied Indian accusations and urged New Delhi to behave differently rather than continuing its stale victimization and blame-shifting narrative.
In response to accusations made by India’s UN Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, Ambassador Usman Jadoon told the 15-member council on Tuesday night, “It is India which actively sponsors, aids, and abets terrorism in my country and beyond.”
