SWAT: District Police Officer (DPO) Mohammad Umar announced on Wednesday that authorities had sealed the unlicensed seminary in Swat where a 14-year-old pupil passed away following alleged mistreatment by a teacher.
At a seminary in the Khwazakhela region of Swat, a young student was allegedly beaten to death by his instructors. Teachers and students hurried him to the closest hospital, but when the physicians arrived, they pronounced him dead.
DPO Umar revealed during a news conference today that the teen pupil who died as a result of the teacher’s alleged beating was involved in the unfortunate incident.
He stated that nine other people have been arrested in relation to the case, and two of the four suspects included in the first information report (FIR) have been taken into jail.
