The second phase of the Chief Minister’s Internship Program was formally launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, significantly boosting the province’s agriculture industry and youth employment.
A monthly stipend of Rs60,000 would be given to 2,000 agriculture graduates as part of this scheme. Students pursuing a BSc in Agriculture or a BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Engineering are eligible to enroll in the program. Applications are accepted from qualified applicants at the district deputy director of agriculture’s office.
An agricultural helpline has been established to support candidates during the application process, and district-wise quotas have been assigned to guarantee equitable representation.
In a statement, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said the internship program not only strengthens support for farmers but also generates valuable career possibilities for the youth.
