Recently, Queen Camilla took a break to manage public appearances while King Charles and Princess of Wales Kate Middleton recuperated from their individual procedures.
Her Majesty celebrated 850 years of St. John’s Foundation on Thursday by meeting with the residents of the nearby almshouses and attending a Service of Celebration at Bath Abbey. The royal family’s Instagram feed provided a preview of the event.
Before entering the 16th-century Chapel of St. Michael, Queen Camilla was greeted warmly by the CEO David Hobdey, Ben Fletcher, the chair of the charity.
The message continued, “One of the UK’s oldest charities, @stjohns1174 was formed as a medieval refuge and offers shelter and assistance for older individuals in addition to working with children to ensure they have the best start in life.
Her arrival follows the Daily Mail’s story that King Charles will be recovering from his prostate operation by relaxing for at least a month. According to a source, “it’s now expected Charles will have to avoid public jobs for at least a month on medical advice.”
