The management of Tajik artist and social media celebrity Abdu Rozik revealed to Khaleej Times that he was arrested on Saturday at Dubai International Airport.
After traveling from Montenegro, the 21-year-old was arrested at around five in the morning. No formal statement has been issued by the authorities, nor have they disclosed the reason for the arrest.
A firm official told Khaleej Times, “All we can say is that we are aware he has been taken into custody on allegations of theft,” without going into further detail.
One of the most well-known young superstars in the area is Rozik, who has a growth hormone shortage and is only slightly over three feet tall.
