According to insiders, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, despite being wealthy, find ways to save money.
According to Page Six, the Sussexes recently flew to Vancouver, Canada, for a three-day holiday aboard a complimentary private plane. The couple is in Canada to promote the 2025 Invictus Games.
The couple were “guests” aboard the 10-seat Bombardier Challenger 605, according to the publication.
One insider told the publication, “They certainly don’t like to spend their own money,” while another said, “It’s always other people’s money.”
Last month, Harry and Meghan flew to Jamaica in a similar arrangement, where they joined Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy for the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love.
In November, they attended a Katy Perry performance in Las Vegas after traveling there aboard Texan oil heir Michael Herd’s jet. They were accompanied by Cameron Diaz, her husband Benji Madden, and Zoe Saldana.
When visiting different cities, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sometimes stay at the homes of rich friends. When they visit Los Angeles, they stay at millionaire Victoria Jackson’s house.
During their time with the Royal Family, Harry and Meghan were not permitted to accept gifts. However, since departing from royal duties in 2020, the pair has received numerous free rides and presents.
