Nex Benedict, a 16-year-old non-binary student, reportedly died from injuries the day after an alleged assault at an Oklahoma school on February 7, according to The Pink News.
Sue Benedict, Nex’s adoptive grandmother, alerted the Owasso Police Department to the alleged altercation, which occurred in a school bathroom.
Nex was brought to Bailey Medical Center in Tulsa County twice, the first after the alleged fight and the second after their terrible death as a result of a subsequent medical event.
