In a recent memoir, Rebel Wilson revealed details regarding Pitch Perfect studio executives.
Rebel stated that the American musical comedy film’s producers supposedly desired to replace the original cast members for the third installment in an excerpt from her forthcoming memoir Rebel Rising that People Magazine was able to access.
The acting sensation revealed in the book that she and her co-stars were considered too “old” for the 2017 film, according to the publication.
In her memoir, Rebel revealed the truth about this situation by writing, “None of us original Bellas were happy about this.”
She did, however, comment on how the fandom of the original cast members led to their being summoned back for Jason Moore’s film’s third installment.
“Cue the big bucks,” she remarked in jest, adding that “Girl power!” was the reason behind this comeback.
Rebel added, just before closing up, that she had gotten herself a $10 million (£8 million) salary for coming back for this film.
