Lizzo’s legal representative is exerting great effort to have the singer’s harassment case dropped.
The 35-year-old rapper’s lawyer recently filed a move for dismissal in opposition to the lawsuit brought by Lizzo’s clothes designer Asha Daniels, who charged Lizzo with imposing a “sexualized and racist environment.”
But according to records obtained by PEOPLE, Lizzo’s attorney stated: “Daniels failed to perform the work that she was assigned and, eventually, just played hooky and refused to show up for work.”
He clarified that the worker’s termination was due to her “abandoning her post” at Lizzo’s concert in Paris.
