In accordance with the applicable rules, the ICC declared the term of ineligibility in its function as the Designated Anti-Corruption Official and decided to postpone the final 18 months of the time.
In lieu of an Anti-Corruption Tribunal hearing, Mr. Thomas opted to accept the allegations and consented to an ICC sentence. He acknowledged breaking the following SLC, ECB, and CPL Code provisions:

Failure to promptly notify to the Designated Anti-Corruption Official all relevant information on any approach or invites received to participate in corrupt conduct in the Lanka Premier League 2021 is prohibited by Article 2.4.4 of the SLC Code.
Failure to correctly and completely submit any information and/or documents sought by the Designated Anti-Corruption Official in order to hinder their investigation, without a compelling reason, is defined as Article 2.4.6 of the SLC Code.
