Pleading no guilty to misdemeanor domestic battery, former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Julio Urías was sentenced to 36 months probation and required to complete 30 days of community work.
One case of spousal battery, two counts of domestic battery involving a romantic relationship, one count of false detention, and one count of assault were among the allegations the left-hander was facing last month.
Four further accusations were withdrawn.
His arrest in September on suspicion of domestic violence led to all of the allegations.
In addition, Urias has to pay a domestic violence fund charge, finish a 52-week domestic violence counseling course, refrain from owning any weapons, refrain from using force or violence, make compensation to the victim, and follow protection order guidelines.
