In Yiewsley, Hillingdon, west London, at the Funderpark funfair, Khadra Ali was evicted from the Xcelerator ride.
The mother’s back, hips, pelvis, ribs, and both collarbones were broken many times.
She also suffered internal hemorrhage and a serious brain injury, which landed her in the hospital for four months.
Along with her daughter, Mrs. Ali rode the fast-forward ride, but her seat was not properly fastened.
The 45-year-old mother cried out for assistance and attempted to hold on as the ride accelerated.
But in the end, she was launched clear, landing on the ground after colliding with a barrier.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) brought charges against three individuals as well as the ride’s company after what transpired.
