Interior Minister Senator Mohsin Naqvi disclosed on Thursday that all of his properties, which he and his wife had reportedly owned for more than ten years, had been “declared” with the appropriate authorities because there had been no new information discovered in the leaked property records, following the nationwide shockwaves caused by property leaks under the “Dubai Unlocked” project.
In addition to being a senator and holding other positions in the current administration, Naqvi is the Minister for Narcotics Control, the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), and his wife has owned real estate in the UK and Dubai for more than ten years.
He responded in-depth to the Dubai leaks at a press conference held in Lahore today, following the revelation of property documents that named a number of well-known Pakistani figures.
