Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Ali Amin Gandapur, has criticized the federal government harshly once more and threatened to take drastic measures if the Center does not provide a specific timeline for fixing the province’s fundamental problems.
Speaking on the floor of the KP Assembly on Friday, Chief Minister Gandapur stated that the province has received funding from the Central Government after being deprived of Rs. 300 billion this fiscal year.
According to him, KP must give the federal government its excess of Rs 96 billion in accordance with the requirements stipulated by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He further promised that by June 30 the province would give the federal government the necessary monies.
