A case concerning the scandalizing judiciary and judges was brought before the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) by Mian Dawood attorney against PTI’s Information Secretary Rauf Hasan and party spokesman Shoaib Shaheen for contempt of court.
The petition has included Rauf Hasan and Shoaib Shaheen as parties. He urged that Rauf Hasan and Shoaib Shaheen would face contempt of court proceedings in view of recent rulings by the Supreme Court.
“Politicians who scandalized judges had previously been sentenced by the SC,” he stated.
The petitioner contended that PTI has been scandalizing the judiciary through a systematic campaign and provided transcripts of incriminating conversations with Shoaib Shaheen and Rauf Hasan.
By engaging in a criminal conspiracy and using derogatory language against IHC Chief Justice, both PTI leaders are scandalizing judges.
