Zeeshan Ahmed, the person who was arrested, was trying to board flight EK601, which was headed to Iran, when it was halted for luggage check. It was then that two forged passports with Zeeshan Ahmed’s and Ahmed Pervez’s names were found.
After additional inquiry, the immigration authorities discovered a false UK resident card and a fake Italian resident card during Ahmed Pervez’s luggage inspection, leading to his arrest from the airport premises.
Preliminary investigations showed that Pervez was involved in helping to move the forged documents.
It is said that he was demanding 2,000 euros for every forged set of paperwork.
Ahmed and Pervez, the two people who were arrested, are both from Gujrat, and it is said that they got the forged documents from an agent.
