Tessa Farrell, the ex-fiance of “General Hospital” star Johnny Wactor, is “completely devastated” by his passing.
“Right now, I’m just a little numb. Waves come in,” she said to News .
Farrell claimed that Wactor’s and her common friend delivered the news to her.
“When I first heard, it was kind of like a slow build of like she was breaking the news slowly, and then you kind of don’t believe it at first,” Farrell stated. “I was curious as to where he was shot. Kind of like, just don’t tell me he’s gone from here, you know? And when she stated he didn’t make it, I started crying uncontrollably.”
Scarlett Wactor, his mother, conducted a phone interview with the News on Sunday.
“[Johnny and a co-worker] were walking to their car, and when they get there, Johnny’s car, which was parked in front of the co-worker’s, looked like it was jacked to one side,” Scarlett stated. And he responded, ‘Hey, dude, you towing my car?’ from what I gather.
“And the person looked up and had a mask, and so then I guess he knew they weren’t doing that, and so he stepped in front of the co-worker and then backed up and put his hands up or both, and the person shot him.”
Farrell wasn’t shocked to learn that Wactor had moved in front of his coworker during the deadly shooting.
“He was a gentleman from the South. incredibly nice, powerful, grounded, caring, and sweet. Always carried out of it.
