Residents of Karachi should prepare for hot and dry weather today, as the Meteorological Department has predicted a high of 37 degrees Celsius.
The city is having partially cloudy skies, which offer some respite from the bright sunlight, despite the sweltering heat.
The Meteorological Department reports that Karachi’s humidity ratio is 65%. There won’t be any quick respite from the terrible weather, according to the department’s further prediction that these hot and muggy conditions would last for the next 24 hours.
The Met Department has also released a forecast for drizzle beginning on June 15, which is a fairly unexpected development. With humid circumstances to go along with the anticipated brief break from the intense heat, this projection has given Karachiites optimism.
The center and southern parts of the nation are expected to see extreme heat today, according to the Met Office’s prediction, while Gilgit-Baltistan may get thunderstorms and light rain in the evening.
According to the department, Islamabad and the surrounding areas will likely continue to see hot, dry weather, but there is a chance of rain in a few locations in Battagram, Kohistan, and Chitral. The southern regions, which include Multan and Rahim Yar Khan, will continue to have scorching temperatures.
