The Netflix series Supacell, which is set in south London, centers on five individuals who unintentionally acquire magical abilities.
Leading the ensemble is Tosin Cole from Doctor Who, who plays delivery driver Michael Lasaki, who develops the ability to travel through time.

He learns that there is a method to prevent his partner Dionne’s (Adelayo Adedayo) death, even though it will occur in a few weeks.

Five Londoners must work together over the course of six episodes, each with a different superpower and unknown to the others, to save her life.

“We’ve made an effort to highlight the various lives, adventures, and tales that these characters have.”

In addition, Rayxia Ojo, Giacomo Mancini, Eddie Marsan, Josh Tedeku, Nadine Mills, Eric Kofi Abrefa, Calvin Demba, and Rayxia Ojo are in the cast.

Digga D and Ghetts, two prominent figures in the UK music industry, make brief appearances in it as well.

It has layers. And that’s why I adore the program,” Onwubolu adds.

He draws attention to the choice to highlight a few discussions that occur in black homes, like the one in which the speaker says, “Sis, you ainttain that promotion, they’re not going to choose you and they have a white woman to choose.”

“We could be wrong but that’s our perception,” he states.

“It was important that the show wasn’t just to see people flying in the sky, it was to get to know the people and how they feel.”
