On Wednesday afternoon, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 rocked Peshawar and the neighboring districts.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at 3:07 PM local time, was found in the Hindu Kush mountain range of Afghanistan, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Residents of Peshawar and other surrounding regions experienced temporary panic attacks as a result of the earthquake. No early reports of casualties or damage have been made.
