KARACHI: The port city is predicted to see partly overcast conditions today, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), which released its forecast on Friday.
The PMD added that the city’s hot and muggy weather is probably going to last for the next 24 hours, even with some clouds in the sky.
The Met Office predicts that the highest temperature will rise to between 34°C and 36°C with a humidity ratio of 76%.
On the other hand, Karachiites may experience a brief break from the heat due to the sea winds, which are predicted to blow at a speed of 21 km/h.
The Meteorological Department reported that the lowest recorded temperature in the previous day was 31°C.
Furthermore, the Met Office predicts that although most of Balochistan’s regions will likely see hot, muggy weather,
a probability of rain, thunder, and high gusts in Barkhan, Khuzdar, Musa Khel, Zhob, and Shirani.
The people residing in Sindh’s provincial capital have been longing for relief from the intense heatwave that has recently engulfed the metropolis.
However, Karachi has only experienced a little drizzle thus far, which hasn’t done much to break the scorching wave.
