The start of direct flights from Quetta and Faisalabad to Saudi Arabia has been announced by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), which is a significant step forward for the people living in these two towns.
This new service, which goes live on August 6, intends to make travel for residents’ various travel needs, including the Umrah pilgrimage, easier.
Travelers will find the journey more convenient as two flights each week will fly between Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah and Pakistan’s Faisalabad and Quetta. Residents of Quetta and Faisalabad previously had to take connecting flights that passed through Islamabad, Karachi, or Lahore, which presented a number of difficulties and inconveniences, they claimed.
Direct flights are anticipated to alleviate these challenges and offer a simpler and more effective travel experience.
