The benchmark index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) maintained its bearish trend on Thursday, closing at 77,740.31 points after dropping 146.68 points from the previous working day’s record of 77,886.99 points.
The KSE-100 index witnessed a negative shift of 0.19 percent, according to the PSX website.
In comparison to the 382,597,400 shares exchanged the day before, a total of 278,986,985 shares were moved during the day. The price of shares was Rs13.094 billion as opposed to Rs14.638 billion on the previous trading day.
433 firms traded their shares on the stock market; 172 of those companies saw gains, 198 had losses, and the share prices of 63 companies stayed the same.
The top three trading businesses were Hascol Petrol, which traded at Rs 6.45 for 26,705,549 shares.
