Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif celebrated the sacrifices made by police officers who lost their lives while performing their duties on Sunday, paying tribute to the bravery and tenacity of the nation’s police force.
The premier stated in a statement honoring Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police Day that the police force had made unparalleled sacrifices in the line of duty and that the day served as a reminder of the courage and bravery shown by the force.
The prime minister’s remarks were quoted by the PM Office’s media wing in a statement today. “In the fight against terrorism, the police force had always played a leading role and police personnel laid down their lives to secure and brighten the future of the nation.”
