Pakistan Railways has said that the Sir Syed Express will be operational from Karachi Cantonment and Rawalpindi upon its restoration.
The notice states that the train will run again starting on September 1.
Prior to this, Pakistan Railways declared that, starting on Saturday, August 3, all passenger train rates would be significantly reduced.
With the revised cost structure, tickets for the AC class have decreased from Rs100 to Rs150, offering significant discounts for those traveling in the higher class. A greater number of people can now afford to travel by rail thanks to a Rs50 reduction in economy class rates.
All passenger trains in the country are subject to this fee cut, which aims to promote increased use of railroad services and lessen the financial load on regular commuters.
