On Sunday night, unknown gunmen opened fire on a foreign fast-food restaurant outlet on Ring Road, which is located in the vicinity of Sarband police station in the outskirts of Peshawar, the provincial capital.
According to the authorities, after opening fire at the eatery, the perpetrators left the area. According to Dawn, the SP Cantonment said there were two attackers, and the fire event is still being investigated.
According to police, a mob had previously attacked other restaurant locations during anti-Israel demonstrations in Peshawar’s Tehkal neighborhood a few months prior.
Given that there were only two attackers, they claimed it does not appear to be an organized group, and they are unable to determine whether the incident was an attack at this time.
