Day three of the first Test at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi saw Bangladesh’s resistance against the host team, prompting Pakistan’s assistant coach Azhar Mahmood to declare on Friday that the match is “even”.
After the play ended, Mahmood gave his opinion. He praised the bowling of the two part-timers, Agha Salman and Saim Ayub. “If we will manage to get the early breakthrough tomorrow and lead of up to 80 runs, then we have the chance to create opportunity for ourselves to win the match.”
Mahmood declared: “We’ll field the same lineup for the second Test, but we’ll take the circumstances into account. We are returning to Test cricket after a seven-month break.
