The Lahore campus of Government College University (GCU) has implemented a new dress code. By outlawing t-shirts and jeans for both male and female students on campus, the policy promotes more modest dress.
The university administration just sent out a notification stating that the new dress code is now in effect. Students were not allowed to wear jeans and t-shirts on the GCU campus, according to the guideline.
All students, male and female, were instructed to adhere to the new dress codes in the announcement. This is a component of the university’s larger initiative to uphold decorum and encourage discipline within the building.
The warning further stated that the institution will take severe measures against anyone who disobeys the new dress code rules.
