KURRAM: Terrorists attacked a police checkpost in Central Kurram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Sunday, resulting in at least one policeman being killed and numerous others injured, police informed Geo News.
District Police Officer Ahmed Khan claims that following the gun attack, the terrorists set fire to the police checkpost.
Constable Shahzad was hurt in the incident, and Qoowat Khan, the policeman who was slain, has been recognized. For treatment, he has been moved to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sadda in Central Kurram.
Following the attack, a funeral prayer has been given for the policeman who was martyred.
Throughout the past few months, the area has seen numerous instances of this type.
Security personnel killed seven terrorists and injured five more earlier this month while conducting an intelligence-based operation (IBO).
