Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, has instructed the relevant authorities to begin accepting payments using Himmat Cards, a service for individuals with disabilities, by September 15.
“We value special people highly,” she remarked during the signing of an agreement between the Department of Social Welfare and the Bank of Punjab. The agreement calls for the issue of Himmat Cards to 65,000 individuals with disabilities throughout the province, enabling them to receive a quarterly payment of Rs 10,500.
President Zafar Masood of Bank of Punjab and Social Welfare Secretary Javed Akhtar Mahmood signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
“The state is responsible for providing for the needs of deserving special people,” Maryam stated.
