In the Punjabi city of Burewala, a woman was viciously attacked with acid by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law following a small quarrel.
The victim’s arms, neck, and face were all severely burned. For medical attention, she was hurried to the hospital.
The woman and her in-laws got into a verbal fight, which led to the incident. An argument inside the family is thought to be the attack’s motivation.
The accused, who also happens to be the woman’s brother-in-law and sister-in-law, have been taken into custody by the police. The inquiry is still on.
