Since the Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (PJGA) hasn’t consistently released daily rates this week, there is confusion surrounding gold pricing in Pakistan.
Customers are irate about this contradiction, especially in light of the significance of gold as an investment and a national symbol.
Historically, the local Pakistani Rupee exchange rate and the price per ounce of gold on the international market have determined how much gold costs in Pakistan. However, buyers and sellers are now uncertain due to the PJGA’s recent lack of updates.
After three days due to holidays earlier in the week, the PJGA finally issued gold rates on Thursday. They haven’t released any updates as of today, Friday, August 30, 2024, though, blaming rain as the cause.
