Following a decrease for the second day in a row, gold prices in Pakistan saw a sharp spike on Thursday. The pricing per tola increased by Rs2,000, finishing at Rs262,100, in line with a decline in worldwide rates.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reports that the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,714, to Rs224,708.
Nonetheless, there was also an upward tendency in the global gold market. According to the APGJSA, the price of gold increased $22 throughout the trading day to reach $2,503 per ounce internationally.
