The largest and first school nutrition program in Punjab was introduced on Thursday by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif at the government elementary school MC-1 in Dera Ghazi Khan (DI Khan).
After meeting with the youngsters, Maryam Nawaz Sharif gave the schoolchildren milk packets.
The CM gave out the milk cartons to the pupils herself, ensuring that the students under her watch finished the packages meant to be brought to school. She also made an effort to interact with the students, asking to know their names and even praising them.
She also asked whether the kids and teens were having any issues with their classwork.
