Over 800 goods have had their prices lowered by 10% by the Utility Stores Corporation; the new prices are in effect right now.
The cost of various brands of ghee, cooking oil, tea, washing powder, noodles, ketchup, Tetra Pak milk, dry milk, spices, pickles, soap, toothpaste, and other items have been lowered between Rs8 and Rs200, according to a statement from the Utility Stores Corporation spokeswoman.
According to the spokesperson, the utility shop subsidy from the Benazir Income Support Program is presently suspended but will soon be reinstated under a new process. He went on to say that in an effort to win back consumers’ trust, Utility Stores Corporation’s management has begun developing a new plan to deliver the greatest services possible.
