LAHORE: Two housemaids, a mother and her teenage daughter, were allegedly subjected to torture by a female employer in a tragic event that occurred in Lahore.
The accused allegedly severely injured the maids in her home, which is located in a neighborhood close to the airport, according to the police.
When neighbors alerted the authorities to the young housemaid’s declining health, the episode became public knowledge. She was clearly hurt, according to the cops, and had bruises. The victims were taken to a hospital and the accused was promptly taken into custody.
One of the housemaids reported to the authorities that her boss would beat her with a stick and make her drink hot water.
