Pakistani soldiers claimed to have used small arms fire to shoot down two Indian airplanes close to Lahore. Pakistan announced that it has destroyed seven additional Indian Centurion tanks in the Sialkot region, increasing the total to 42.
Indian naval operations in the Arabian Sea are said to have been impeded by Pakistan’s greater naval might. Indian air troops are said to have bombed Thakurgaon in Dinajpur and Lalmonirhat in Rangpur in eastern Pakistan.
