In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the 55-year-old former drummer for Nirvana stated that he intends to be a “loving and supportive parent” to his new daughter.
Grohl, who has been married to Jordyn Blum for over 20 years, and the two of them have three kids together, expressed his love for his family and his efforts to “earn their forgiveness and regain their trust.”
In the article, he said, “I recently became the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.”
“I want to provide her with a caring and encouraging home.
I’m doing my hardest to win back my wife’s and my kids’ trust and forgiveness because I love them.”

Since 2003, the rock star and director Blum have been wed.
He was the drummer for the grunge band Nirvana from 1990 until lead singer Kurt Cobain, at 27 years old, committed suicide in 1994.
After founding Foo Fighters, Grohl has achieved several chart-topping albums, the most recent of which being 2023’s But Here We Are.
