On September 3, while trekking over the Tramuntana mountain range in Mallorca, Sarah Jane Thompson, 26, and Alexander Barrett, 32, were carried away by flash water.
Mr. Barrett’s employer, Awesome Walls, a rock-climbing club in Stockport, honored him and his girlfriend.
On Instagram, it stated, “Alex was renowned for his contagious smile, kind disposition, and boundless psyche in all facets of life.
Sarah was a frequent visitor to Awesome Walls and a pleasant sight to everyone she encountered. During her climbing sessions, she would frequently make friends with individuals and had a cheerful and friendly disposition.
