The red-ball series schedule against England was changed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday.
The specifics state that the PCB made the decision to start the second Test match in Multan, citing the highly anticipated Champions Trophy, which is scheduled for February of next year, as justification for the stadium’s refurbishment in Karachi.
The PCB has stated unequivocally that the series’ final two test matches will take place on time.
Beginning on October 7, the first Test will also take place in Multan.
When England last visited Pakistan in 2022, they defeated the country 3-0 and had not been there for 17 years.
