In much of the province, rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds are expected from Thursday through Tuesday, according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
As per the PDMA, all Deputy Commissioners throughout the province have been instructed to take preventive steps in order to prevent any loss of human and material resources during the projected period.
In the event of an emergency, dial 1700 to reach the PDMA Control Room, which is fully operational.
According to the Met Office, hot weather is predicted in plain districts and mostly dry weather in most other districts of the province.
On Wednesday, the majority of the province’s districts should see dry weather, with plain districts seeing heat. But in a few locations like Abbotabad, Mansehra, Dir, rain, wind, and thunderstorms are probably possible.
