In Okara Cantonment, the Pakistan Army and the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) have established the Al-Buraq E-Business Center. This program is a component of a larger endeavor to use information technology to fight inflation and advance national development.
Since the center opened on January 24, 140 students have benefited from its advice. By using their e-learning and e-business skills, each student has been able to earn up to $3,000. Over fifteen enterprises founded by former students of the center are currently being connected to national and international businesses in order to continue growing.
The effort is in line with the Army Chief’s goal of enabling military families online. The initiative seeks to create a culture of creativity and offer doors for economic growth by providing people with digital skills.
