Since then, the Department of Medical Examiner for the County of Los Angeles has determined that his death was an accident.
Throughout his life, Binzer battled drug addiction and was a frequent guest on programs like Celebrity Rehab and Sober House that addressed the subject.
“We all tried, but ultimately we all failed,” the singer’s manager Howie Hubberman said in a statement provided to US media following his passing.
Along with Brett Mazur, Binzer started Crazy Town in Los Angeles in 1995.
